Glass Project

The project's goal was a strategic realignment of our client’s processes, a medium - sized glass producer with a business volume of about 2 Mio Euro.
The initial position was an increase of competition based on market saturation due to the focus on a special product segment.
On this basis, the customer faced extensive deficits after the dropout loss of his second product segment. As a result, the whole business risk was located on a flagging segment.

IdeenExpo2 Project

The "IdeenExpo" (ideas expo) at the exhibition center in Hannover is an event for young potentials from science and technology. The hosts used the help of Janus Consultants e.V. a second time, this time to evaluate the event of 2009 by interviewing visitors.
For this project, the team developed a comprehensive concept containing questionnaire design, determination of target group specific sample size, creation of technical basis, training of the interviewers, data evaluation and data analysis.

Investment Planning Tool Project

In 2009, Janus Consultants e.V. ran a project to evaluate the contentment with the crisis contact point. The client, a local business development association, was very satisfied, hence a follow-up project was acquired.
On his website, our client offers an excel-program for investment planning which can be used free of charge by companies.
The customer detected room for improvement concerning this tool, which led to an open call for tenders.
In the end, the client chose Janus Consultants e.V..

Rapsöl-Projekt

Through another client Janus Consultants e.V. contacted the owner of a oil mill located in the newly-formed German states. Our former client, a partner of the oil mill, had been very satisfied with the results Janus Consultants e.V. had provided before, therefore he arranged this project to analyze a possible entry to the market for edible oils.

The oil mill's main product was biodiesel, side products were colza cake and pharmaglycerin. To use available capacities and to build a second pillar, the customer thought about entering the market for edible oils.
