History of Janus Consultants e.V.

The first student consultancy was founded in 1967 in France at ESSEC, a leading private business school. The students named their association "Junior Enterprise". Since then, student consultancies are often abbreviated as "JE".
Their concept attracted worldwide attention, and to this day more than 30.000 students europe-wide are organized in such JE’s. In the mid-eighties, the first German JEs were founded.

Our association was founded under the name Janus e.V. in 1993 by a couple of ambitious students to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience and to provide the widest experience spectrum possible to the members. Since 1993, Janus strives to further develop this bridge between theory and practice.
In 2009, Janus e.V. was renamed to Janus Consultants e.V..

Ever since the formation of our JE, Janus Consultants e.V. pursues a mission based on our visions.
